MUSIC STUDENTS’ LUNCHTIME RECITAL
About
Shrewsbury College has probably the largest music department of any sixth form college in the UK. Based at the English Bridge campus right by the Abbey and headed up by Chris Lewis, there are currently over 30 A-level music students specialising in a wide range of instruments as well as voice. We are always delighted to showcase these very talented young musicians when they present free lunchtime recitals in the wonderful surroundings and acoustic of the Abbey. Do come along at 12.30 for 40 minutes or so and be proud of what the next generation of musicians can achieve. Music education is alive and kicking in Shrewsbury! \n
