DESCRIPTION:The Amy Winehouse Band – Amy’s original band who were with her
from the very start throughout her meteoric rise – have announced a major
UK tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of her defining album\, Back to B
lack. Released in 2006\,Back to Black became the album that transformed Am
y Winehouse from a rising British talent into a global cultural force. It
propelled her to unprecedented heights\, culminating in five GRAMMY Award
wins at the 2008ceremony (Record of the Year\, Song of the Year\, Best Fem
ale Pop Vocal Performance\, Best Pop Vocal Album\, and Best New Artist)\,
making her the first British woman to win that many in one night. Performi

ubs\, was her band. Now\, The Amy Winehouse Band continue to bring her cat
alogue to audiences around the world\, keeping Amy’s musical legacy alive
and giving new generations the chance to experience these modern classic s

n continues into 2027 with a dedicated run of Scottish dates in Glasgow\,
Aberdeen\, Dunfermline\, and Dumfries next March. On the upcoming Back to
 Black 20th anniversary tour\, Dale says: “I can’t believe that it’s the 20
th anniversary of Back To Black this year. When i congratulated Amy on the
success of this incredible album\, she said to me\, not with any arroganc
e: ‘I knew what I was doing\,’ and at that moment\, I realised that she kn
ew exactly what she had created. It is still an honour\, pleasure and priv
ilege to be performing these songs\, from this timeless classic.“ The Amy
Winehouse Band completed a sold-out tour of the UK in 2025\, alongside mul
