SUMMARY:Steeleye Span in Concert
LOCATION:Cheltenham Town Hall: Main Stage
DESCRIPTION:Together for fifty seven years now\, Steeleye Span changed the
face of folk music forever by taking it into the world of gold discs and i
nternational tours. Now they return with Conflict\, their first full studi
o album in over five years. All traditional singers have sung modern and s
elf-composed pieces alongside old songs\, Conflict is an album that follow
s in that very tradition. The album’s title was chosen as much to reflect
the times we find ourselves in\, but also the stretch and tear of our rela
tionship with this planet that hosts us. The band will undertake a full UK
tour in support\, their first live dates of the year. As ever and with su
ch a rich history to choose from – the night will offer a selection of son
gs from across the years and firm fan favourites. Please note\, a £3 ticke
t commission fee is included in the price of the ticket. If you require a
carer ticket\, or have any accessibility requirements please book your tic
kets over the phone by calling 01242 528 764. The lines are open 9.00am –
 5.00pm\, Monday – Friday.
